Aquastop AR1

Special alkaline fibreglass reinforcement mesh, special for reinforcing the Nanoflex No Limits gel-film waterproofing membrane in the Laminato 2 No Limits system.

In the Laminato 1 No Limits® system and Laminato No Crack® systems.

Application

1 Apply Nanoflex® No Limits® with a smooth trowel to a thickness of approximately 1 - 2 mm, pressing to achieve maximum adhesion to the substrate.

The thickness achieved depends on the surface finish and the flatness of the substrate.

2 Apply Aquastop AR1 to the damp sealing gel-membrane, overlapping the sheets by approximately 10 cm.

3 Incorporate Aquastop AR1 into the first layer of the fresh waterproofing material by pressing with the trowel.

4 Spread any product that spills over from the mesh eyes with the spatula to achieve an even thickness.

5 Apply Aquastop AR1 to the damp gel-membrane waterproofing membrane, overlapping the installed Aquastop 120.

6 After the product has cured and any surface condensation moisture has been removed, apply the second coat of Nanoflex® No Limits®.

Apply a continuous and uniform thickness of approximately 3 mm to fully cover Aquastop AR1.
