Description

MARITRANS 5 kg

MARITRANS® is a transparent, hard elastic, solids rich, aliphatic polyurethane coating used for long lasting sealing. This high-tech coating provides UV stability, does not yellow, is resistant to chemicals and alkalis, does not change with weather and over the years, and remains transparent and flexible.

MARITRANS® protects and seals the surface from water penetration, frost, fog and acid rain. MARITRANS® is also used as a transparent binder to produce finishes with a sand texture layer on surfaces previously sealed with MARISEAL SYSTEM®. By using it as a resin binder in sand textured layer applications, MARITRANS® provides high elasticity and flexibility making it ideal for balcony and terrace applications.

MARITRANS® uses a unique setting system (activated by moisture) and unlike other systems, MARITRANS® does not react with moisture (setting with moisture) and does not blister.

Applications as a sand-faced coating in:

  • Transparent waterproofing of Balconies, Terraces and Verandas
  • Transparent sealing of glass, in the form of a transparent sealing of roofing tiles, tarpaulins, tarpaulins, roofing slabs, roofing tarpaulins and roofing tiles.
  • Transparent waterproofing of glass and glass block walls
  • Transparent sealing of transparent plastic (e.g. Polycarbonate)
  • Transparent sealing of ceramic surfaces
  • Transparent sealing and protection of Natural Stone and Karystone Slabs
  • Transparent sealing and protection of Wood and Bamboo
  • Used over MARISEAL®SYSTEM, on surfaces subject to daily foot traffic, as a transparent top coat or as a non-yellowing binder for coloured sand to produce decorative applications with a sand face finish.
