Fields of application

Pasting absorbent and non-absorbent tiles (eg gres porcellanato). Natural stone. Decorative plinths. Large-format tiles. Glass mosaics, etc., wall or floor, on various surfaces and especially where the requirements in adhesion, particular flexibility and moisture resistance are particularly high (e.g. old tile layer, floors with underfloor heating, metal surfaces, swimming pools, plasterboard, etc.)

Applicable indoors and outdoors

  • Deformability in accordance with EN 12004-2: > 2,5 mm

Application

  • Substrate preparation. The surface to be coated must be free from dust, grease, paint, loose materials, etc. It is recommended to wet before application
  • Application. Add ISOMAT AK 22 to the stirring water until a homogeneous pasty mixture is obtained. It is recommended to mix with a low-speed mixer (drill)
  • Let the mixture ripen for about 5 minutes and stir it a little again
  • Spread the glue and "comb" it on the substrate with a serrated spatula, so that it is evenly distributed over the entire surface
  • Then, we place the tiles, pressing them to the point of their desired position
  • The layered mixture should be covered with tiles within 30 minutes to avoid "epidermis", i.e. before the adhesive film starts setting
  • Consumption: 1,5-4,0 kg/m2, depending on the size of the teeth of the spatula and the type of substrate

Notes: The product contains cement, which reacts alkaline with water and is classified as irritant. Highly porous surfaces, such as aerated concrete, plasterboard, particleboard, etc., should be primed initially with the acrylic primer UNI-PRIMER. Consult the instructions for safe use and precautions on the packaging.
