The TMline is a hotwire manual cutter designed for cutting insulation boards made of EPS/XPS used in the External Insulation Finishing System (EIFS). It belongs to the top series of TM foam cutters and serves as a professional tool for precise cutting of expanded and extruded polystyrene panels.
Constructed with a strong and lightweight frame of aluminum and steel, the TMline features a double tabletop and double wings to securely hold the EPS/XPS sheets during cutting. The entire structure is equipped with various metric scales, enabling the execution of different types of cuts, including straight cuts, step cuts, and angular cuts. This versatility meets the specific requirements of contractors who need to perform on-site cutting of EPS/XPS panels.
The telescopic design of TMline allows it to be extended for cutting boards with a maximum length of 1250 mm and a thickness of 280 mm. No maintenance is required for its operation. Weighing only 18 kg and equipped with a handle fixed on the tabletop, it is compact and easy to carry, fitting into the trunk of a small car effortlessly. The robust tripod can be quickly folded and stored at the back of the tabletop when the foam cutter is not in use.
Capabilities
The hot-wire foam cutter TMline can execute high detailed cuts of eps / xps boards used for the EIFS.
The clean cut of the polystyrene slab is important in order that 2 panels fit snugly and this avoid the creation of thermal bridges (in accordance to the regulation above the Energy saving ).Furthermore the hot-wire cut is not creating crumble that are usually caused by saw, blades or simple cutters.
With the hot-wire foam cutter TMline is possible to execute various kind of cuts on the eps / xps sheets (angular with different degrees, straight cut, step cut) and the results will be perfect as if was done using a CNC foam cutting machine.
Advantages
The feature that makes the cutter even more versatile is the addition of the lateral arch. An optional that takes the cutting experience to a higher level. Equipped with a second hot wire, it allows for easy and precise angled cuts.
The optional lateral bow of the hot wire foam cutter offers a wire length of 32 cm and a cutting depth of 55 cm. These dimensions allow for easy handling of angled cuts and working with polystyrene panels of various thicknesses. With the lateral bow, precise and high-quality results can be achieved.
