  • SurfaPaint ThermoDry Elastomeric Roof Paint is a high quality elastomeric paint that retains its elasticity over a wide range of temperature changes
  • The elastomeric paint coating has the ability to prevent heat transfer due to low thermal conductivity, reflect infrared radiation, re-emit heat and prevent moisture penetration, resulting in significant energy savings during winter and summer
  • It has a long lifetime, as it is extremely resistant to UV radiation and adverse weather conditions
  • Provides a non-permeable, waterproof coating, even in ponding water or snow and is waterproof allowing surfaces to breathe
  • The product is environmentally friendly helping to reduce the heat island effect
  • SurfaPaint ThermoDry Elastomeric Roof Paint is a cool paint, certified by the European Cool Roofs Council (ECRC) 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 

  • SurfaPaint ThermoDry Elastomeric Roof Paint can be applied to exterior horizontal (e.g. terraces, roofs, balconies) and sloping surfaces
  • Adverse conditions during or immediately after application may affect the properties of the material
  • New cement substrates or new masonry should have cured for more than 2 weeks prior to application
  • Preparation. Remove dust, dirt and loose debris

Application Instructions:

  • Mix thoroughly before application. Seal cracks and joints either with putty or by coating polyester fabric (gauze) impregnated with ThermoDry Elastomeric Roof Paint
  • The surface is primed using the material itself diluted 1:1 with water.
  • The application temperature should be between 5⁰C - 35⁰C
  • The surface humidity should not exceed 6% and atmospheric humidity should not exceed 80%.
  • Apply 2 coats without thinning using a good quality brush, roller or spray
  • Ensure that corners and edges are adequately covered
  • Additional coats should be applied 24 hours after the previous coat
  • Maximum sealing capacity is achieved 7 days after application
  • Total coverage: 2±1 m²/L (primer and two coats)
  • Drying:  Usually 4 hours depending on the thickness of the layer
  • Low temperatures and high humidity prolong the drying time.
