  • SurfaPore FX WB is an innovative hybrid nanomaterial to enhance the mechanical strength of building surfaces and stabilize loose, sensitive surfaces that is applied to any surface to enhance abrasion resistance

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • SurfaPore FX WB is an aqueous suspension of functional nanoparticles that, due to its shape, size and solvent (water), penetrate deep structural surfaces, up to 20mm (porous stone lining)
  • After application, the nanoparticles chemically "anchor" to the application surface and additionally form bonds with each other, resulting in enhanced mechanical properties of weathered or "sensitive" surfaces
  • The inorganic nature of nanoparticles ensures chemical compatibility and ease of application with building materials
  • SurfaPore FX does not clog pores but mechanically supports microcracks and material "discontinuity"
  • Thus, the natural appearance, porosity and transpiration of the modified surfaces remain unaffected

APPLICATION SURFACES

Coatings, plasters, cement screeds, cement slabs, cementitious fillings, limestone, sandstones, clay surfaces, "soft" marbles

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  • Application: Remove any loose debris from the application surface
  • The application surface must be clean and dry
  • Shake the container well before use
  • Apply with brush, roller or airless spray
  • On highly absorbent or loose and damaged surfaces reapply after 15 minutes
  • Recommended application temperature is 5-35°C
  • Drying time 30 minutes depending on relative humidity and temperature
  • Full maturation of the material and optimal mechanical strength properties are achieved 30 days after application
  • Coverage: 6-8 m²/L, depending on the properties and absorbency of the application surface
