GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

SurfaPore R is a liquid water-based product containing nanoparticles with three distinct functional areas: (a) the core of the nanoparticle, which is small enough to penetrate the pores of ceramic materials, (b) the hydrophobic area, which is located at the top of the nanoparticle and effectively repels water, and (c) the binding surface, which causes the nanoparticle to chemically "anchor" to the ceramic material

Unlike "traditional" waterproofing, with the application of SurfaPore R the pores, capillaries and free surface are not "sealed" with insulating material, but instead their surface is "dressed" hydrophobically while continuing to permeate

Functional nanoparticles chemically bond to the surface of the pores without filling them while preventing water infiltration, frost cracks, the growth of "blackness", moss, lichen, and salt formation

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Application: It is recommended that the application surface is clean and dry.

Using a brush, roller or sprayer, cover with SurfaPore R, undiluted

On particularly absorbent surfaces, it is recommended to apply a second coat within 3 hours of the first application.

Immersion: immerse the ceramic material in SurfaPore R for 30 seconds.

Waterproofing is fully achieved 24 hours after application

Coverage: 9-11 m²/L, depending on the absorbency of the application surface
