  • Fibre-reinforced non-shrinkable mortar for concrete repair.
  • Mapegrout Thixotropic is used in all concrete repair works such as reconstruction of the reinforcement coating, repair of the edges of beams, columns and balcony edges damaged due to oxidation of their ferro-reinforcement.
  • Thanks to its high mechanical strength, Mapegrout Thixotropic can be used for repairs to the load-bearing reinforcement. Made of cement binders, granular aggregates, special additives and synthetic fibres, Mapegrout Thixotropic is prepared by mixing a 25 kg bag with 3,8-4,1 litres of water.
  • Mapegrout Thixotropic is applied by trowel, trowel or spray onto solid substrates which must be clean, rough and previously wetted with water.It repairs surfaces up to 30-35 mm thick in a single coat without moulding.
  • For more correct curing of the material and greater reduction of shrinkage, Mapegrout Thixotropic can be mixed with Mapecure SRA curing agent, in a ratio of 0.25% by weight.
  • Mapegrout Thixotropic meets the minimum requirements of EN 1504-3 for construction mortars, group R4.
